We were approached to help launch the new Vibe soda drinks with a poppy & fun range of animations.
Mixing more freestyle 2d cell animation with carefully timed 3d animation was both a challenge and a lot of fun to pull off thanks to everyone involved.
As well as acting as Creative Director on this job, I was on tools as a 3d generalist. Which included setting up the workflow and integration between the 2d and 3d, as well as setting up scenes so we could accurately do animatics via viewport outputs.
